Installing Panoramic (Manila 2.1)

(Possible WVGA Panoramic Cab. Download Here.)

Gen.Y Panorama v2b contains only the panoramic manila files and the two backgrounds pictured above, so that you will still have the same slider, curtains, clock, etc.

Gen.Y Panorama with mods v2b.cab contains the panoramic manila files, and the two backgrounds pictured above, as well as the hidden when inactive call history/calendar (compatible with 25 languages), black-glass flip clock, Lucarp78's transparent slider, no curtains, and Kamill's CompactHome Classic Full. This is the version pictured and in the video. The icons by bullet7722 are not included.

Gen.Y Panorama mods v2b-No CompactHome contains all things in Gen.Y Panorama with mods v.2b.cab except the CompactHome mod.

You'll also need to download the fix.

Gen.Y pano-slide move down fix 2b.cab will move the image down if it moves higher while sliding. Seems to be needed with NRG's Roms.

Now, here are the steps you will follow.
1. Change the Wallpaper to the default background, reset
2. Install the first file you downloaded on your device. No need to reboot.
3. Install the Fix you downloaded and reboot.(NRG & MurdaRom Need This Cab.)
4. Now, install the Panoramic BG of your choice and reboot one last time.
5. Enjoy your gorgeous new PanoBG thanks to Zombiexx and other contributers.
6. Don't be cheap with the Thank You button...

i had a cab from psykis roms 2nd post already installed and this just installed over it and worked.

i just tried to do the pats bg over the jenny a and my screen went back to default bg...

what i did to make it work was install a pano bg from psyki, reset. install pats bg, reset. and it works.:scratch:

i usually uninstall the current bg cab then install the new one then soft reset and usually works for me.

i use winCE cab maker app if you send me the .zip i can make a cab and use your name instead of my own :)

heres a update to the "NewEnglandPatriots" theme i noticed there was a white line within the last image thats fixed in this v2 cab

lol. total noob here. not even sure what u mean... i have edited the three manilla files for the portrait mode... do i just throw them into a .zip file? how does the system (or whatever) know to replace the files on ur phone when u create a cab? .... i mean, what instructs the cab what to do?

i use found someone elses cab to look to see how theres way setup and worked from there then saved a "tempcab" and just add and replace newer manilla files and save as cab and go.

umm do u know how to click on the blue letters that say dodgers.cab, for example, next to the little file picture? then it asks u where to put .cab file in your phone...pick something easy like storage card. then when the little progress bar completes and the "check" appears double tap the bar (assuming u might be doing this on opera) then the next choice is install to DEVICE not the storage card...soft reset and viola yer scrollin wit the best...
