Thats just the plain black pano image. If your using Calks kitchen, you choose the pano option and the image you want to use.

And I think the reason you had problems cooking in other pano cabs is because most of my older cabs I made with HDWall. When you use the CAB to OEM and OEM to EXT, it doesn't find the files in the cab. So no files get extracted to the OEM folder. I didn't know that at first. I'm using WinCe now (thanks zombie) and you shouldn't have that problem with the ones I make now.

try this its an EXT that enables pano and usually can use your wallpaper of choice but i removed the 6 wallpaper manila files so maybe it'll enable pano but use no wallpaper?

I'm in the middle of trying to edit some other manila files now, but as soon as I get a chance I will.

So I did it! Using Manila9editor I opened up GenY's pano cab and replaced manila files:

67ea4038_manila
67fc58b9_manila
680e713a_manila
682089BB_manila
6832a23c_manila
6844badb_manila

with the same files from the manila2.1 plain black cab from Calkulin's kitchen that Triscuit posted. I cooked it in and it's good to go. Black Pano from the get go! Thanks for your help guys!

Triscuit or Zombie, I can't remember who made it, do you think you could make this cab again now that you have a better method?
