With what he can do to a ROM compared to what I, or Sprint, can do, he is a ROM God......

hey guys... whats up colonel...

i come by this site once in a while to check on any updates and what not. but when you guys go off on a tangent. you guys go for 5 pages. you should see when i didn't update my rom for 6 months. i was askin stupid questions like crazy... i think like page 30-34... but anywho... its kinda entertaining. but if you guys got beef. PM each other. now onto business.

basically i realize that this rom is awesome... its got everything i want in a rom.
but today i saw that he put up a new one i think. dated 12/28/07. i was going through the posts and got tired of clicking back... back... back... soooo... im asking now... whats the difference? updates?

but i think i had the oct21 rom running. so ill give my input on that.

maybe others have been getting these issues.

1) on random times... my phone will just sound as if the phone is turning off. when i look its in airplane mode. but its in s2u mode. so... i cant press buttons to turn it on or off.

2) sometimes my phone will not work... meaning i can dial... but the speakers are silent... i cant be heard or hear. it ussually happens when i make a call or take a call... but a couple times its happened in the middle of a call.

are there shortcut buttons ? keys?

3) not really an issue... (more of ... i was dumb for thinking this for the longest time... just to make people smack their forhead and smile and say "OMG"!) for the longest time i thought the wifi wasn't working. i'd go to the communications screen... hit wifi... and it would go on... then off. then i realized... duh... the switch! lol...

so im not perfect... but at least i made you hit your forehead!!! lol.

so please ... copy and paste the update issues w/ the 12/28 or better yet... PM it to me... so we dont start going off on another tangent here! lol

I'm getting a communication error around 68% when I try to flash the 1-22 nbh :sad:

I flashed it the 1-22 last night, it seems identical to the 12-28. Which is a bummer. I ditched that one because i couldnt get the pic mail to work. So it looks like I'll be going back to 10-21. Oh well.

It downloaded fine, moved it to RUU folder, no password needed. I don't get it. Granted it was 1am PST when i did it.

Its not a slap upside the head. Its just the truth. The rom is a test rom for certain ppl to test with, hence y it was passworded. Just because you have never seen me post anything in Titan forum doesnt mean I do not have an idea of what is going on here. I am a world of help for those who actually know me. (guess i will stop toothing my own horn here). I can vouch that the new rom (verizon rom) in cols folder is completely different from the rom back 12/28 which was actually a sprint rom. so if u flashed both, there is something obviously wrong there.
Before anybody tries to PM me for the password, the ppl that were needed to test it have already been given the password and new roms will be released soon for some carriers. Please dont ask for when either. We are working hard to accommodate as many carriers as possible.

BTW, just to prove it was passworded, i wonder y this thread was started.

Again, firegeek not trying to down you or anything as such. It was just that you commented on a rom that you didnt flash and thats how wrong information spreads. I would never have even bothered posting if not for that.
