Re: Stuck in TITAN bootloader? Read this!
I have a ppc6800 through uscc.. I'm trying to add gps, atleast a custom rom.. so I tried the spl-240-oli deal, and screwed that up. phone is stuck at spl-1.07 BL mode. I have tried numerous things.. for one, the computer (xp home) won't allow me to use RUU, i have to put the rom image on my flash card, then the phone see's it, and a few rom's just say 'loading...' and other's fail, namely the sprint ones.. The locker and unlocker both just hang at 'loading...' please any advice will be appreciated, I bought this thing used, and well uscc is willing to send it to htc and they'll send me a new one or something. Still I'd rather get my custom rom.. Thanks to anyone in advance.

Re: Stuck in TITAN bootloader? Read this!
You'll need to find out what CID you have and hope that there is a shipped EXE for that carrier. A dumped USCC one won't work. You can find it out with info 2 command in mtty from the bootloader. Also might try just using the exitbl prog from this thread as you don't mention trying that.

ok so I didn't download the app, instead used mtty and the 'set 16 0' and it worked! ![]() now is it safe to still try and put oli pro on it? and custom rom? Last edited by netw3rkd; 09-04-2008 at 08:50 AM. |

Re: Stuck in TITAN bootloader? Read this!
use a different computer, find one with xp.
if that doesn't work it may be a USB issue. Another possibility, is to flash a new rom from the SD card (there are instructions for how to do that on the site) Last edited by ImCoKeMaN; 09-10-2008 at 06:37 AM. |
