EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: This unlocker will ONLY work for updates with GPS enabled radio's and roms. However, this update for the unlocker is required for and GPS enabled custom roms. Old and new SPL/roms are not mix and match.

This is actually from an MFG bootloader which means it has extra internal commands like rtask if you are into that stuff too =)
note: This update can not be run by extracting the files and just running the RUU. If the self extracting executable doesn't work for you just run the .bat file to get everything started. It has directions from there (same idea as the relocker if ya want more direct instructions).


Olipro has been making Hard-SPL patches for a long time on xda, but this is the first for a CDMA device. If you aren't familiar with the concept I encourage you to read a few of the threads over at xda. Once I found a way to load a working copy of a custom SPL for the Titan, Olipro offered to patch the SPL for this device so that it will have the same features as his other Hard-SPL patches. Then he wrapped it all in to one nice neat package like the others.

Hmmm... if this is true... then I think I may very well be getting a Mogul soon provided someone fixes the memory leak. I've got 29MB free on WM6 on my Apache, there's no reason I should have 7-10 on a Mogul.

Oh wow, this is very good news. Great work guys! I wish I could do stuff like this but I have no idea where to even begin. I'm smart but I have no idea how these pocket PCs work when it comes to loading custom ROMs and all. I can't wait to see some ROM kitchens for the Mogul!

Does this mean that youll be able to unlock GPS?

OMG there is no fucking gps on the mogul, if you need or want a gps that bad go buy a reciver like the rest of us did. sorry but i'm sick of everythread in this forum always truning into wether or not there is a gps, or if it can be unlocked.

ImCoKeMaN deserves a ton of credit here as well. He has put in countless hours learning the ways of the SPL, had to recompile a linux tool to facilitate running a new SPL, and is also the one who recruited Olipro to take a small diversion from GSM-land to help out us silly CDMA users.

So big thanks to Olipro and ImCoKeMaN!

OK. I am totally new to the ppc community. For those of us out there that do not know what the advantages of using this unlocker are that would be great. I have downloaded the .zip and want to unlock the phone but I want to know whether or not I should wait for new roms, or are they already out there?

Anyhow, great job to all of the developers not only for this unlocker but for all of the other developments that have come out for the titan. I must say that my phone runs so much better with the help of those on this forum.

Has anyone tried this... i did it and got that error the people list on XDA, and dont know if its ok to disconnect it... ill wait like 10 min, lol...

I get an error saying it can't find device path on my WinXP machine... its okay to disconnect - i already did.

Ok I’m pretty new to the Titan, I used to change my ROM all the time on the 6700 but I’m a little confused here. I did the entire process and reloaded the Sprint ROM and everything works the same. My question is what exactly does this Unlocker do? The only answer I can think of is this Unlocker is going to be what we need to put Hacked ROM's/Kitchens on our Titan's, but so far there aren't any of those out, correct? If someone could explain that would be appreciated.

Can we flash with the latest Alltell ROM dump on the FTP? Does that modify the radio?

When I try to open the .exe I get "applicate execute error" in winxp...

by the way.... for stuck in bootloader on the Titan if you know mtty try "set 16 0" instead of set 14 0

Just for kicks... I installed the Alltel ROM, reseted before the Alltel customizations ran, and then ran a full sbp backup restore and my keyboard works in Live search. I can connect to Vision, and *2 still brings me to the Claire.

Anyone explain a work around for the USB can not open error in mtty in Vista?

yes, you just need to disable activesync USB connections

sounds like were on the brink of not missing our 6700s.

Well in Vista it's called 'Mobile Sync Center' and I kill the process, but I still get the error. Really wanna get my phone out of the bootloader without loosing all my data.

just so people know this may keep your device stuck in bootloader and you would be forced to reflash so if you don't have to have to reinstall everything don't do this yet. unless you really wont to then go for it lol.
