Sorry for the delay in response. I am attaching a file for you. Unzip the .rar file, and add the epst.epst file inside to your \Windows directory on the phone. I will make sure that this is include by default in all of my future builds. It should fix your problem. If not, we'll try something else!

I wonder if your phone's internal battery gauge has gotten out of whack. Try letting your phone completely die. Keep it going until you can't turn it back on. Then recharge it fully.

I've heard of that happening occasionally, especially after flashing a bunch of different ROMs.

Re: WM 6.5 - 23017B (08-Aug-2009)/23025A (11-Aug-2009)

has anyone had the problem with the ROM locking up the phone after texting with the hardware keyboard. It will not lock up if you use the virtual keyboard for texting.

just flashed to this ROM and besides battery issues this is the only problem I am seeing.

Hope someone can help me on this.

Thanks... Jarrod

I haven't heard of the texting freeze before. Is it with all messaging (SMS, MMS and email) or just texts? Also, have you done any modifications to the texting portion by installing a program or adjusting the registry?

it is my sisters phone that I have flased for her. As far as I know she only does texting. The only thing I have modified in the registry is the ReceipientAutoComplete. I have installed atcontacts, chome editor, and titianum notifications. I have the TP and with roms I flash on to it they have you hard reset the phone and then clearstorage a couple of times before you start using the rom. I could not find this for the titan. does this exist.

thanks for any help...Jarrod

With any phone you flash, it's a good idea to do a hard-reset. On the Titan, you do this by holding the two soft-keys and pushing the reset hole. I've never heard of "clearstorage" before. Can you explain what that it?

Also, can you explain further what you mean by modifying RecipientAutoComplete in the registry? I'll make the same adjustment on my phone and see if it's the culprit.

If you have not heard of "clearstorage" then that would mean it is a program for the TP. However it is same thing as the hard reset. It is just a program that does the samething as a hard reset.

As for "reciepientAutoComplete" registry settings here is what I do.

HKLM\system\inbox\RecipientAutocomplete
DisableIMEContextInAddressField change from 1 to 0

MaxSuggestions change from 0 to 4 (can be whatever you want it to be for the suggestion)

This allows you to type in the a name of a receipient and it will give you up to 4 suggestions for receipients.

I hope this helps. I am starting to think it is truely a hardware keyboard issue.

Thanks....Jarrod
