Re: Windows 6.5 Titan

Had flashed to 21222 but then flashed back to DCD 4.1.2.
The response to B is promising. Maybe next weekend. I hope we will have a few more roms by then.

Re: Windows 6.5 Titan

OK, so I installed 21222B this morning and I am very impressed I may be crazy, but it feels faster than the other one you had posted. I also like the default honeycombed look.

The only thing that isn't working for me at the moment is Google Maps, and I don't know if this is the program or the ROM. I can't log on to Latitude and get an error "Login failed. Secure connection failed. Restarting Maps may help." I noticed the same thing happened with 21222A. I'm using the latest Google Maps (3.0.1.6) and even tried to re-download the cab in case it was a bad file. It worked on the 21202 build I had been using previously.

Anybody else seeing the same thing?

Still no luck after trying your suggestions. And no need to recook; I've got the rest of my programs and email accounts set up just the way I like and Latitude isn't terribly important to me. Maybe it'll work after the next build comes out when it's time for me to set everything up once again.

Is anybody else having the same problem, though?

Re: Windows 6.5 Titan

This might be odd, but I haven't noticed any memory leaks. Maybe it's 3rd party programs doing it? I have two Touch Pros and both ran 6.5 without many issues at all and the memory usage was just slightly more than 6.1 uses.

Re: Windows 6.5 Titan

OK, I uninstalled all of my extra Titanium things (WM 7 theme, CComm and CVolume), and the leak went away. It must have been one of those, so now it's time to re-install them one by one.

Let me know what you find. I have both of those addins (CComm and CVolume) and also have big memory leaks. I've disabled the CComm widget and will see if that improves things.

After I uninstalled the WM7 theme, it broke some of the goodies that came on this ROM (including the Titanium Weather plug-in), so I went a day with my Today screen entirely disabled. It was boring, but held the memory tight.
I hard-reset last night, and did not install WM7 theme, CComm and CVolume. So far it's doing pretty well. I am going to try installing CVolume this evening to see what happens. Following that, I'll try CComm. I think I'm going to hold off on WM7, though, until the next version or two.
