Need help with contacts button not working...
Had a quick questions guys. I just flashed a very basic Sprint based ROM form PPCKitchen and the whole phone actually works pretty good, except on the home screen where contacts is won't push forward.
When you hit start, then contacts-nothing. Am I missing a link? Anyone have a cab I can use? ROM Version: 3.08.66.1 Radio: 3.42.40 PRL : 02001 Metro PCS Never had this happen. Usually its something else, but not contacts. THanks in advance.

Go download Advanced Configuration Tools and in it there is a tab that lets you reassign filepaths to the softkeys.

One of the contacts programs caused this to happen to me. I don't remember which one, but when I removed it all was well.

have you installed and uninstalled various different contact managers? does anything happen or does it come up with an error message? Might be that whatever contact manager you are using is/has over-ridden your default Outlook contact manager....
