xv6800 looking for some info.

I have a vx6800 with verizon service. I have been searching these forums and getting lost. I am trying to get a few things working on my vx6800.

I would like to enable the gps and also does anyone make a larger vertual keyboard cab? Any help would be great. I have r3.37.75 and d3.57. I used to have an older vx6800 and someone installed a drd rom and gps worked with that older phone. I don't want to mess up my phone so im looking for the most help. Thanks.
