ok...i'm seriously electronically challenged....i downloaded the sprint version of your ROM...but i don't understand what to do from there...i just got this phone and was directed here by a friend...can someone please help me put this on my mogul...idiotproof step by step would be appreciated.

No comment, search the forum... This thread is not meant to baby step everyone through the entire process of unlocking your phone, flashing a unlocked bootloader, flashing a new radio and ROM, and flashing a custom ROM. Not at all. This thread was made to distribute my very nice Cricket ROM.

Maybe someone else will help you, but I am fed up with newcomers. Flashing custom ROMs is not meant for newcomers so you have to, Read, Read, read, read, search, search, search, search, put 2 and 2 together and get four, etc. etc. etc.. repeat etc..

I am sure you will get it eventually as we all start at the bottom.

Update did a hard reset did not let it load custom extended rom.
Everything works fine web txt calls i can send mms but for some reason I cannot receive getting ready for work now will try calling cricket and have them refresh my account see if that works but so far not working.

And I did nothing except dial *228 to program and added number when access the web.

Getting there for it fully working.

Again thanks for all your quick responses and GREAT rom i love it and just a side note where could I get new themes but so far i like the default one.

You shouldnt of had to use *228 if you were already a cricket user. No one said to complete that task. If your PST settings were set fine why would you do that? MMS sends and receives fine with no edits or tweaks bro. That *228 may of got ya.

edit: There are plenty of manila 2d themes in programs M2DC, apply theme, easy. you can change title bar colors and such with RCmod. There are plenty of Today screen themes too, 50 I think lol, in settings/today. QVGA Today Themes you can get all over, they are .tsk files and get simply pasted into windows folder. Manila themes get left as a .zip folder and placed in Manilla Gfx folder in windows I believe. I havent needed any new themes so I dont know.

I have a couple questions.


1. Can you make a MetroPcs version.

Yea, good look. i didnt notice diag mode doesnt work. Its not really needed anyways. I will work on a hotfix that you can just install. Fieldtrial mode runs. Like I said I will release a CAB fix to get DIAG mode working.

EDIT: Fieldtrial is ##33284 call, EPST is ##778 call, with smart dialing off.

Here is the quick fix! Now you dont even have to open dialer. Just install this cab I made and it will create shortcuts to Diag Mode(DmRouter), Debug(Fieldtrial), and PST(EPST).

Works out well now you can put smart dial back on.

You dont have to soft reset, just remember to install to device memory.
