Anytime. These are the classic "tech", as it were, people. Their arrogance gets in the way of having any social skills. They might know how to do something technical but without knowing how to do "data transfers", (i.e. TALK), to other members of society they always seem tied up in knots. I have worked with MANY of them. Funny when using google to search for info often it return results from forums and there are ALWAY these @ssholes camping on HOw the poster posted wrong rather than actually being helpful and kind-hearted. I suspect most of them are teens, or adults that have the social deficiency of most teens.

As far as your problem, I'm sorry I'm on USCC and followed that thread to unlock my GPS. I have only flashed my ROM 2 or 3 times and I have spent so much time customizing it that I cringe at the thought of doing it again. I believe I have a different bootloader than you however. Maybe just try flashing to different ROMs and see what results you get? Trial and error. Sorry I can't be more definitive. Please keep us updated on your progress.

Well... I don't think I'm one of those classic tech people. I was trying to help the guy by giving him every possible link to all of the problems he was having. I don't think I was being an a-hole. I guess if I would have gone to his house and done it for him that would have worked better. The fact of the matter is that I've never bricked my phone at all, but I have read things here and seen posts about people who have.

BTW, lilmomo: If you haven't already, load the latest stock Sprint ROM from my first post, then perform a hard-reset after the load. Then remove the battery for a minute and then power-on the phone. That may eliminate the sporadic power-downs.

And this is just my opinion, but no2chem has some super-stable, basic ROM's that you can search for. I use BuildOS to make all of my own custom ROM's, but I don't load them down with a ton of B.S. either. Make sure you hit the thanks button for these guys, too. Building ROM's ain't easy. Good luck with the rest of the ROM loads.

If you would do a little reading you would figure out how to do it. I'll throw you in the right direction. Do a search for threads by GaMedic and you'll find one about how to flash your own ROM.

look guys, i never yelled at anyone. Quite frankly, i was to nervous to take the time to tell you off. As is, i was only refering to your numerous comments as to why i dont post like this, or like that. look, for all of those who have flashed many times, nothing ever prepares you for something going wrong. When it does, it does not matter how many times you have flashed, you eventually freak out. Anyway, look its all good the phone is working fine. I flashed to the iphone rom, but that was just to test that all the issues were gone, and they are. so thank you all for all your help.

on a new note,

i have decided that i really want to make my own rom. maybe base it on others like no2chem, but cutomize it to my own likeing, i would like to cook it into my own rom. how would i do that? if its too complicated then i wont bother, but i flash all day, sometimes 5 times a day, just to see whats out there, and it would be great to be able to have my own customized rom to always fall back. people always talk about kitchens, and stuff, and honestly i do not really understand all of it. Any one want to take a few min to expllain it all to me? mabe there is a link on ppc geeks how to do it, but idk where to find it. If its too much trouble scrap it, but let me know if there is a away.
