Re: NueRom Unified Kitchen 206 + BuildOS = PROPER FIX!

If you haven't noticed, when you click on the camera link with the camera disabled in the kernel... The phone locks up. Thats because no2chem modified the HTC camera oem with a switch that checks if its disabled and ask's to enable the camera instead of locking up. But his oem has a GUID conflict with the actual OEM from for all the other kitchens. Even if u select his packege in the nueROM Titan/Vogue Drivers section instead of the imaging section the original OEM is stilled cooked in.

To fix this just change the GUID for the .dsm and .rgu file and update the option.xml with the new GUID. Select no2chem's camera package over the one under imaging and ur all set.

EDIT:

I would like to build a ROM that has the ability to turn the camera on and off. Does anyone have a configuration file that might help?

Thanks again.

EDIT: Saw on another post it is nueCORE...

Now for another question, how do I set this up so US Celular is in the list of carriers?
Everything in the System 96 DPI Resource, System 96 DPI 240x320 Resource, and System Packages should be selected unless its something obvious that you don't want cooked in.

I will as soon as I have things fixed with the newest build OS. I just now updated today and things are still screwy. From the looks of things my system with using a base will work even better with the newest build OS settings.

OK, here is my "base" selection file and my actual selection file that I am currently using. There are a couple of files in my base selections that I have changed and customized but you can use the version that comes in no2Chems without any problem.
