So this ROM works fine with Alltel phones after making this modification?

I have a friend with an Alltel titan that wants me to upgrade it, but I don't want to break anything for her.

Been runnin for 2 weeks or so now w/ nuttin' but love for this load. I'd exercise caution "helpin" anybody else's phone along as a general rule, but if she's "hip to the cook" & understands the process & so-on, why not?

Does anyone have MS Voice Command working with the stand alone rom?

MSVC workin just fine in NueRom3's Unified Kitchen cooked via PPC kitchen w/ LOTS of help from Mikeeee and others . I have the NueExt Rom goin, Scott's M2D runnin, and I soft reset into about 20MB free....hovers around 16-18. VERY solid. Pic Text msgs, the whole nine yards. Its dicey gettin loaded, but well worth it in my view.

I am assuming 20MB in low memory mode? I am currently using DCD's latest rom. At boot I have 22-23 and usually work down to 18-20 before I have to reset anyway. That running MSVC and Mobile Shell. Oxios seems to help alot, but seems to cause frequent lock-ups. I am extremely interested in using NueRom's stuff specifically because of thr NueKernel application. Not only does the camera on this device suck, but I have a pretty sweet digital camera that I use.

He means high mem with M2D running.

i downloaded the M rom and tried to install it, its off the sdcard. I reboot into the bootloader and it get the gray screen, i get a red number 00068002 and then it goes back to the the 4 color screen. i have grabbed another copy of the file from the cite but its still not working. Any ideas?


never mind i figured it out, its been a while and i wasnt paying attention to what i as doing....

Nope, thats in HiMem/no-camera mode. Butt hay, if you're that high up (22-23) in low then you'll REALLY like the hi-mem...I'd estimate 25.5 for your setup. I, obviously, have a bunch of junk loaded that you don't.....'s all good.

So do you think that if I drop the signed nbh into an empty ruu folder and flash that MSVC will work, or did you have to add something when you used the kitchen?

I am running nueROM-M: 201 and my tool bar locks up with HTC task manager installed. Many times this happens when I slide the keyboard, but it has also happened in portrait mode. If you dont use HTC task manager what is the best way to close programs?

That task manager was screwing up the dcd rom I am currently using too, but only when I had the "show q menu on the today screen" enabled. I disabled that and selected close programs on tapping x.

do you have any voice command w/ the 201 rom?

I cooked MSVC in from the PPC Kitchen & it worked fine; no additional steps.
