Shaggylive the driver is installed it is in the ROM I built. I reloaded it to make sure and after reloading it now I can not see the extended drive. The cpl shows that it is selected so I unselected it reset the unit then reselected it and reset the unit and now I still can not see the extended drive? I think the problem is it's running the sprint customizations and borking the rom install. If I stop the customization then the phone is stuck at the windows screen and will not respond. If I let is run the customization it will freeze it can't find one of the lnk files in the ext_rom and once again it freezes at that point I reset the unit again and it works. How do I stop it from running the customizations in the first place? This is replacement phone my brother-in-law picked up a few days ago and I am starting to think there is a problem with the phone I have none of these problems with my phone. I don't have an ext_rom so that might be why it works fine on mine.

edit; for what its worth, I cooked only what was in the 206 kitchen, I tried the cab versions and have not been able to view or edit the extended rom either. Maybe someone else can report when they wake up..

shaggylive thanks for the help I load a clean rom from the kitchen and then loaded nue driver and cpl and was able to delete the ext_rom files.....

I got this from xda a while ago and never had use for it but it seems to make internet explorer 6 back into pocket ie.
Tested logmein and it works.

Funny, I've done the same thing, but I get error messages when I try to delete. I have used Resco Explorer and Total Commander. I am going to wait until the next base comes out and edit the nbh to include a blank ext rom image if I can. I plan on using the SD Autorun utility I procured over at xda-develepers instead of the ext rom.

Now for a new problem I could use some help with. I tried to use OEMizer to for my personal settings and whenever I try to use the OEM's I've made, the kitchen crashes.

Thoughts?

Install the cab below and soft reset. Then you can write and delete to the extended rom. BTW Shaggy, this cab works

Most likely and issue with the personal oem's you have made. Usually a duplicate file. Can you still run the kitchen if you do not use your oem's or does the kitchen crash when you try to create your own oem's?

I tried changing the registry for the screen resolution in Internet Explorer 6. The settings will not hold after a soft reset.

Anyone else have luck?
