Not working here either. In a known Rev.A area.

Re: EvDO Rev.A Icon

not working for me in St. Louis, MO:

radio 3.42.50 flashed via full alltel RUU
full OEMDrivers from Alltel 3.52.671.9
tried with phonecanvas' phcanoverbmp.dll, spcs_override.dll, and included override.dll
tried with "Rev. A" setting in EPST both enabled and disabled

no change in icon, but latency and upstream both suggest Rev. A coverage when EPST "Rev. A" setting "enabled"

maybe something more is needed?

I don't remember exactly. I was just there for the Blues/Penguins game.
Latency indicated Rev. A as it was ~300ms with "Rev. A"=disabled and ~100ms with "Rev. A"=enabled.

St. Louis was one of the very first EvDO Rev. A markets for Sprint and I tested so I could say I tested, but the area is known to be Rev. A.

Re: EvDO Rev.A Icon

I flashed the latest Alltel ROM and it worked just fine once I installed the Sprint carrier cab. It would switch from Ev to E when it was in a RevA area. I switched to nueRom3 and when it would switch from Ev to "X" when in a RevA area. Nothing would get it to show the RevA icon. As soon as I put in the latest Sprint PRI to get the GPS working again, it would just show the Ev icon. I gave up on this indicator, just doesn't work.
