Re: Titan WM6.1 Build 20755 GPS kitchen

There is a folder on the manual site http://ppckitchen.org/Downloads called "Projects". That is where the .txt selections are.

Keep trying on the downloads, or just try downloading the newest BuildOS manually, then installing it may work better to update the rest.

Re: Titan WM6.1 Build 20755 GPS kitchen

Gguruusa,

Thanks for much for your help. I appreciate it. Thanks to you I now have the newest kitchen loading without errors. As you said before, it appears I have the most recent downloads. If that's the case, why does the updater keep telling me updates are available? It wants me to download the OEM's files as if it doesn't recognize that I already have them. It is not checking the build specific files so it does apparantly recognize those. Thanks!

Re: Titan WM6.1 Build 20755 GPS kitchen

Wow - the new kitchen is absolutely amazing! Thanks guys! I love the new functionality. A couple things.

I am not able to select battery performance under registry but I can select AdvancedPowerManagement from RaphaelOEM. Are these both necessary? What's the difference? Should I leave RaphaelOEM alone since I have a Titan?

Which OEM adds the Communication, Multimedia, and Productivity folders under the menu programs? None of them seem to do anything for me.

Thanks again! This kitchen rocks!

oops - That's only for apache. The ones I was thinking of are baked in by default.

I just went back and measured the levels on my Titan. With the backlight on dim, I get about 67 on 19209, so there's nothing special no2 did. Haven't tried on anything newer yet. If you're backlight hasn't dimmed, you'll have much higher readings. I'll get numbers for 20755 shortly.

Edit: JustPCtech measured Nuerom.pre3, and it gets 76 (+-10 points is not significant, so unchanged from older builds)

Re: Titan WM6.1 Build 20755 GPS kitchen

I went back to 20273 (bc the no scroll and select in email was killing me) and noticed the OEM choices in the kitchen are different and a lot of the ones available in the recent kitchen are not there. Any reason for this? TIA

make sure your selections is not still referencing the PPCGeeks_OEM.rar instead of the newer PPCkitchen_OEM.rar now.

How can I remove iContact from the build? Or change the registry to point back to the standard contact manager? Thanks.

Re: Titan WM6.1 Build 20755 GPS kitchen

dont know why people think uninstalling and reinstalling is the answer. If you havent ran updater in awhile, run it to see if you have the latest version of BuildOS or not. if so, check the Titan_WM6.1_20273 Selections.txt file in the Projects folder on this path-
C:\ProgramFiles\PPCkitchen.org\BuildOS\Projects

I'm not sure its been updated yet to work with the new BuildOS however, so you might get a kitchen_config error then. on the line in that selections that says OptionalModuleDir=kitchens\PPCGeeks_OEM.rar:, change the PPCGeeks to PPCkitchen now and be sure you have downloaded that rar recently.
