I would definitely like to know what you find out. I mean, my phones almost unusable. I'm out of the house at 6AM and I get home from school at 9PM, I need a phone that lasts. On 5067, a ten minute phone call maybe took away 1% of my battery, now it takes away 10-15%. Like I said, the only thing that seems normal is how much life it eats when in standby, which is negligible.

That's definitely possible, but I selected other things that were apparently already in the build, because it asked me if I wanted to overwrite those files when it was cooking. I feel like I should still be able to check the box off when I'm making selections.

I guess my overall question is is there a reason for me to upgrade to 20755 or could someone tell me some registry tweaks that I could do myself to improve my battery life when I'm using the phone. By the way, thanks for all your input.

Re: Titan WM6.1 Build 20755 GPS kitchen

I also am having trouble. I have the new build os installed and it tells me updates are available. When I try to download them, however, it errors out each time telling me "can't copy file ppckitchen_oem.rar." It tells me that every time.

Also, I don't see where do download the new .txt file saving the selections. Where is that?

Thanks!

When you run the updater you get the .txt file for the new build.

Re: Titan WM6.1 Build 20755 GPS kitchen

Ok, it's not really the size, and it's not specific OEMs causing the build to break with a size message.

If I try to run Calc ROM Sizes under Tools, after that it will break my build, I think after trying to add any OEM. I think removing OEMs may be OK. Closing BuildOS and reopening fixes the break and allows the build to complete.

I successfully built a ROM 193 Mb, which turned the size bar color Yellow. After running the calculator the build broke, but saving it and closing and reopening allowed it to build completely.

I am guessing that the upper limit is actually about 200 Mb judging by the numbers near the end of the bar.

I don't recommend running the "Calc ROM Sizes" tool til this is looked at.

The upper end is well over 200, but you shouldn't exceed 200 if you plan on actually using your device.

I'll take a look at the calc tool...entirely possible it's breaking normal builds.

Unhappy Re: Titan WM6.1 Build 20755 GPS kitchen

There is a bug with Movilnet carrier and Titan_WM6.1_20755 Selections.txt

Build 20755 cook with other carrier but not with Movilnet, anybody may try to cook with Movilnet and Titan_WM6.1_20755 Selections.txt?.

Error message:

Build Status
Creating Manifest: OEMAPPS_Keyboard_Sensor_Setting
Scanning kitchens\Carriers_Titan.rar::Carriers_Movilnet
Extracting: kitchens\Carriers_Titan.rar
...

Then windows show the follow msgbox: BuildOS
kitchens\Carriers_Titan.rar
File create error

I replaced manually Carriers_Titan.rar but nothing...uninstall and reinstall the kitchen but nothing.

Any ideas???

If you ignore and attempt to build anyway, you get the error message that a folder does not exist. (The old XIP error.)

Not sure if no2chem has the time to get to this right now, so you might want to wait before running the updater. If you'd like the latest OEMs, use manual download to get them.

I'm hoping XP's system restore feature will roll back my BuildOS. Going to try it now...

Edit: System restore alone didn't do the trick. Thank god I had a hard drive backup of my PPCKitchen program folder to drop in. Hope to see this get fixed soon, as I do love the look and layout of the newest BuildOS, but still want to use my nueROM3-pre3 kitchen files.
Yea I got the same error

We'll take a look at that. Should be easy to fix. Thanks for narrowing it down.

If you can get to http://ppckitchen.org, then the server is up. If you can't, it's down/inaccessible.
