gc works greeeaaatt with his IP fix
skywing works great on the official Mr1 update

I downloaded a program from google maps that works good. The verizon navigator is $9.99 a month.

Realizing that I cross-posted on the XDA site as well... I need some Help!! Either missed a step or messed things up.

Last week I got a new XV6800 (one of the pins in the cable slot got bent) and I immediately updated using the VZW updater, to Windows Mobile 6.1. I have not done any other ROM updates (cooked or otherwise). I had not updated to 6.1 before, as the phone was acting strange and I was nervous about messing with it.

I pulled the "Valhalla Legends GPSServer.cab" and then installed it right into my XV6800. I installed on the data card, if that makes a difference.
I get nothing! No GPS in GoogleMaps or LiveSearch... nothing.
Did I really miss a step? Can I "undo" and start over?
Help!!!

I followed instructions posted here. I have RD1 update (ROM 3.57.605.1) and radio ver 3.37.75 with PRI 2.03_002. I get no luck in google maps and the gps test app that was posted says "waiting to acquire gps fix". Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I've successfully done this before on my last Titan, however, I cannot seem to get this to work on my new Titan. Everytime I try to put the phone in DIAG mode, Activesync gives me a damn communication error. What could the problem be?

Also, I've noticed on the WModemDriverInstaller, the option "Install Driver" is grayed out. What is the problem? I'm running Vista x64. Please see attached image.

i just installed the vahalla agps .cab . . . guess what.. it workes.

not at first though..... but i did install the vzw navigator.. let it run .. then reinstalled the cab.... soft reset.... works perfect...

9 satellites in about 30 seconds. awesomeness. says it is within 20 meters... not bad. (i think)

so... what is the best gps software (free) out there?

the windows live seems pretty cool, but it will not locate me.... i changed the com to port 4.. was that correct?

google maps locates quick, as does amazegps ...

yes port 4 is correct. sometimes i have to start google first and that primesw the gps. but it does not always work
