When I try to sync, I get this:

Cannot open the connection '57600 Default'. This connection is no longer valid or does not exist. Select a different connection and try again.

I can't reflash, because I can't get it to connect to AS. Any ideas? Yes, I played with the USB to PC connection.

alright, I played with it for about an hour before I posted and now it decided to connect. All I did was select the "enable advanced network functionality box", I tried this about 10 times before and it didn't work. It works now.

Sometimes you have to delete the old relationship with pocket pc in active sync... In active sync click on file and delete mobile device. I hope this works for you. For future references as I see you got it to work.

JD, You done it again, yielding 24meg ram after boot with spb Mobile shell. I threw the book at it when it comes to software. Bluetooth, Gps, all work just fine. Very good but not as fast as your 8/8/08 rom. Seems to be a tid bit more stable. I glad you included the microsoft office products. I rate you right there with DCD and Nochem as I use all of you guys roms. Keep up the good work. Thanks

tried all that and it just kept being tempermental. I ended up having to flash to stock anyway, I have a new replacement coming since my camera went bad.

You can also try putting the device in bootloader mode by pressing the power and camera buttons at the same time as soft resetting. It works for me when I cannot get activesync to behave prior to a rom flash.

Ditto on the above. Came off No2chems nuerom3 pre1 (superb memory) due to the absence of the camera. I wanted it back.

Text messaging not working properly was my deciding factor to leave nuerom3 pre1. However 30mgs of ram after good is sweet.

Those are the links to the C@rlos Touch dialer. Is that the dialer in JD's 2.6 ROM. If so, I was unable to tell from the list of installed programs.

Just checking to make sure that you did not use the Wizard reTouched that seemed to have a memory leak.
