Re: trying to flash-stays at 0%

Lots of times you will get that after a radio flash. On Sprint what works for me is double-checking the PRL to be sure its one of the latest, then refreshing the MSID and MDN in EPST. You will need the MSL (unlock code) to get into EPST edit mode, then just re-add the same numbers that are there now if they are correct.

Ah, vzw. You can try the *228 to reprogram it, otherwise usually calling them and telling them you hard reset and need a new Akey works too.

Re: trying to flash-stays at 0%

thats more the issue i was talking about earlier- taking a long time to find towers. you might try the same thing though. you will need the MSL for the device to get into edit mode in EPST (##778# or ##778 Talk). then on the Nam Settings tab there, just remove and re-add your MSID and MDN there. not sure if those are both your phone number like Sprint is or not on vzw, might have to research that if you didnt make a note of them before flashing radio. If you need the program to get your MSL download it from the following link:
GETSPC.zip
then put both files on your device and run it- adding the HEX ESN for the device where it says Input. The output will be your MSL.

Re: trying to flash-stays at 0%

ok my issue is resolved!
the issue was radio 3.35.04. for some reason it dorks the reception of the cell signal. even after calling verizon and them walking me through the manual programming of the phone-no go. she suggested bringing it in.
after a few flashes here and there, i went to the restocking thead of the verizon and started from scratch.
after i got my files straight, followed the novice flashing thread, it worked without a hitch.
for some reason radio 3.42.40 works the best and gps locks are really fast.

this was my second phone so i knew i was doing something wrong that was really simple.

Thanks!
