Re: Samsung Omnia 3D Drivers

I threw these drivers on my Vogue, and I didn't really see any improvements. I cannot even run that d3ddemo. It pops up and disappears just as fast.

I have noticed considerable slow-down when I touch the screen though. Now when I use PocketSand, the game starts crawling when I touch the screen, and gets back to normal afterwards...

That happens to me on my mogul. And I notice it mostly on pocket sand as well! [I love that game!]

I uninstalled the cab, but I don't know if that will fix what the driver did... oh well, it was worth a try..

Re: Samsung Omnia 3D Drivers

*any* app slows down when you touch the screen, you guys are just looking for something to blame it on.

Seriously. This driver is seldom used by *anything* in WM6...

I wasn't referring to the driver. I was referring to noticing it on the game PocketSand more than others. Yes, I am aware of the slowdown on touch devices. It is even more prevalent on games like Resco Guardians and RocketElite

Well the last poster was saying that the slowdown got *worse* after installing the driver which just simply isn't the case.

Re: Samsung Omnia 3D Drivers

These drivers definately work for me!! i have a mogul and when applied to the kitchen i notice a huge improvement in the startup animation. it is much more fluid and seemless in it's execution in the bootup screen. Before i had these drivers installed, the startup animation was very choppy/glitchy and could not keep up with the neccessay frame rate to execute smoothly. i have tried several different gifs for the boot startup animation and all resulted in smooth frame rates. the boot startup animation i use starts off as light that weaves into a sprint symbol, shimmers and ends to a point and then phone starts..
