you should make sure you have the latest prl that is normally the solution to roaming. what i normally do is test all the available prls from sprint and see which one suits me best.

Re: Custom Kitchens

can any one tell me what the minimum requirements are for any of these kitchens? How much processing power does it take to cook a rom? Do you need much ram?

It takes all the processing power you can throw at it.

Minimum requirements are 2000 (it'll really blow...you're much better off with XP), about 300MB of avail memory (I think <100MB of avail physical), and about 400MB of avail drive space (that's just to build...installation takes about 10MB, kitchens take about 30MB, and PPCGeeks_OEM takes about 100MB).

If it'll run 2000 or newer, you should be able to use buildos on it.

I miss the speed & stability of my 6700. Sadly, I think I'll try wm5 out.

You will probably get 20 different opinions on this.....in my opinion PPC kitchen is.....much more user friendly customizations....no disrespect to DCD though....I use em both.....

That's like asking which is better, Pepsi or Coke. I prefer DCD's.

I know with DCD's I could just add a bunch of cabs, but I was looking for something similar to BuildOS where I could select a ROM and add all apps I wanted.
You gotta add oem packages to the oem folder in DCD's kitchen. You can simply extract oem folders from PPCKitchen (in the kitchens folder) and put them in DCD's oem folder. Then you will have more options.
