Re: Custom Kitchens

I have been using DCD's since I got mine. I also use his radios and have vever had a problem that was not my fault. I am in the Charleston market as well so let me ask you a question. Do you have trouble with text messages getting delayed often?

I don't think so... Usually they send right away... Now I have had problems sending to particular carriers. For some reason I have trouble from time to time sending to my brother on AT&T. Sometimes it says failed and then when I retry it goes through. Not a big deal, but somewhat annoying.

I have a 6900 version of Dogguys, my kitchen of choice. And there are several more tutorials in my sig that you may want to check out. Most will work with any kitchen... I think I even have a link in my add/removing programs tutorial for a 6800 kitchen...

Re: Custom Kitchens

That sounds about right as most problems come when sending to my parents who are/used to be suncom/cingular/att/tmobile or whomever has it now.

Just checked out your tutorial... Very nice! I am going to dive into a bunch of these tonight. Probably won't get much sleep and will be dragging *** at work tomorrow, but at least it's Friday!

I know what you mean. I have a friend on Suncom and I can't text him even if I wanted to... For some reason his the only number that won't work... Called Alltel and they said it had something to do with Suncom. Of course they wouldn't find their own fault.

I miss the speed & stability of my 6700. Sadly, I think I'll try wm5 out.
Is the OP a Dire Straits fan?

You gotta add oem packages to the oem folder in DCD's kitchen. You can simply extract oem folders from PPCKitchen (in the kitchens folder) and put them in DCD's oem folder. Then you will have more options.
So if you go to the kitchens folder in buildos and select ppc_oem and unrar it gives you all the oems but how do you put those into the oem file of dcd's kitchen? they are not in oem format!
