Re: Step by Step tutorial for unlocking your device and cooking your own ROM!!!
GaMedic - I wish that I could thank you enough for all of the work that you have done here. So many people on these forums forget that they too once sat at their P.C. with their phone connected, activesync loaded, wondering what the hell to do next. What's a Rom, I ask myself....what do they mean by a Radio? So many questions, not enough patient people and a forum search window that has .01% success rate. Thank God that I found another newb getting flamed for newb questions, being referred to this thread. Thanks for pulling me out of the ditch. I will be reading and studying your work over the next few days and then I will get "Cooking,"...um....err...or whatever it is that I will be doing as I attempt my upgrades. And I'll try to find a few nickels to Paypal you.

Re: Step by Step tutorial for unlocking your device and cooking your own ROM!!!
When I put my phone in bootloader to run the radio it doesn't do nothing.. All I see is a gray screen pop up and then stays in the bootloader. I renamed the TITAIMG.nbh and everything. What's wrong?

Make sure that file is on the root of the card and not in a folder. Also make sure your card is formatted to fat32. Some cards don't work. It must be 2g or less in size as well.

Re: Step by Step tutorial for unlocking your device and cooking your own ROM!!!
Hey guys I need some help. I have flashed Touch Pros, Diamonds with no issues and thought this would be pretty straightforward especially with these well written tutorials.
But it looks like I got myself into a bit of trouble. I need some help. So I used the Olipro2.4 to try and unloock this Titan. Hooked up with activesync and then started the process. A CMD prompt window opens and walks you through the process. Here is where it went wrong....It goes into bootloader mode and then disconnects itself from Activesync on its own (did this on touch pro last I remembered so thought this was normal). Then in the command window it tells me disconnect then reconnect. As I do that it is still in bootloader mode on phone. It goes from serial on phone to usb, but NEVER re establishes connections with Activesync since its in bootloader mode still. So I think this is normal, so I continue and the RUU opens. I go through that process and its goes to bootloader and loads and then states "UNLOCK successful." Then jump back to CMND window where it states hit this to continue....I accidentally close that window instead (I think or it closed on its own). When it did that or I did that the phone is stuck in bootloader mode and will not restart. I cant HARD RESET or do anything now. I cant start process over again since I can't make connection with Activesync.... Need some advice on how to get out of this brick.....running windows 6.0 if that makes any difference. I was going to upgrade to 6.1 once unlocked. Thanks in advance.. |
