The gps radio's don't work with the older non gps roms, so thats why you are getting stuck. All those 2.xx roms are older thats why you cant find any of them. Just find the latest 3.56 rom and just reflash that and you should be fine. If you want a custom rom then run olipro 2.4 then flash the latest sprint rom so you can atleast get the latest radio version then run a custom rom of your choice.

I have tried flashing with a newer ROM, but it always freezes at 11% and restarts.
