Offical Sprint 3.56 MOGUL 6.1 Rom is now posted at HTC.com - Page 27

for some odd reason, last night the previous rom was acting screwy..was super sluggish and what not, no idea what caused it so i decided to go for 3.56. So far it is smoother than the previous rom.

Tethering has disappeared, but Ill find the reg edit for that on here somewhere. flashlight doesnt work anymore oddly..andmemory management seems better too.

Have been running this ROM for a few days now all seems to fine except in-bound text messages are 3 hours ahead of the actual time. I also did not allow the Sprint customizations to run since I am on Bell Mobility network but some things are still set for Sprint ( like ROAMING settings ). Is there anyway to change these menus to read Bell?

If you successfully upgraded to that rom, you most certainly DO have Windows Mobile 6.1 on the device. What are you checking?

links at the begining of this thread to HTC seem to be broken, and they won't let me download the rom updates on their site? Say my S/N isn't good.

Any thoughts?

I'm really new here and a real dummy when it comes to this stuff with this phone. I've been looking high and low for this link to upgrade the HTC 6800 that I just got and the above link seems to be the only one that downloaded anything.

I have checked the Device Information and the ROM ver that is on this phone is 2.09.651.3 so I do know I need to upgrade. Now for the dummy part:

How do I get that onto my phone? I did download it to my desktop but now that I have it I'm not sure what to do with it.

First, why on earth did that link work yesterday but not today?? I just tried to download it again but it gets an error page now. grrrrr

I am having trouble with mms. Can't see any pictures I receive. It tells me "You are unauthorized to view the share." Also, tapping the "X" does not completely close anything. I have to go into "Settings" "Systems" "Memory" "Running Programs" in order to shut down any and all programs that have been opened.

Plus in the Device Information it says "Current Username... ???@myboost.com (? = not really what it says) which isn't me, so how do I change that?

I see, it sounds like you are ready for a change. Is your device Sprint branded?
