is this a "live" phone or is it your "play" phone? if its your main phone you may want to wait for pre9 or 2.2rc1. (i'm still running 69k on my main phone)

No2Chem or anybody else know when Pre 9 will be out? I'm still on Pre7 and debating u[grading to Pre8 or waiting for the next release.

Pretty sure he said the next release will be RC1 for 2.2, but he hasn't said WHEN that will be. When does he ever tell us when they come out, except a few hours prior?

no i havent tried the other pre2.2's i guess ill wait for pre10 and its my live phone
