i have flashed the official ROM before but dont think that i am suppose to continue to see this after flashing No2chem's ROM; am i suppose to see this? or should it mirror what the spl identifies it as (i.e. nue pre-8?, 7090? or something like that).

I am currently running Pre-8

BTW, i know (hope) that i am flashing the ROM correctly because i see the improvements/nue hardware/or fix, that no2chem explains he has completed. Any help would be much appreciated.

You are fine....it just has not been updated....

Re: nueROM 2.2 Bleeding Edge Report Thread

ROM: 5770 pre-8
Sprint

Apps;
Skyfire
google maps
htc audio manager
wa3 and wad

I know not everyone has skyfire but i thought i would just mention that I cant seem to move the page on screen with touches anymore, just with the d-pad, which can take a while. Zooming still works, yet slower then usual. I think this is my first post so sorry if i did anything wrong.

Thanks in advance for any help

Known issue. The scrolling behavior is messed up in pre-8. Skyfire as well as MSFT native apps and others are impacted by it. Forced me to go back to pre-7.

Re: nueROM 2.2 Bleeding Edge Report Thread

Yeah that's already been posted - a few of us have migrated ROMs due to this.

Re: nueROM 2.2 Bleeding Edge Report Thread

ROM Version you are running: Pre 8
Applications you have installed: None
Carrier: Sprint

Describe concisely, the issue you are experiencing: After Fresh flash, and running the setup for sprint internet does not work. PIE just says "Locating" and then it gives up. I see the data connection, connect to Sprint but not data is received.

Describe, step by step how to reproduce this issue:
1. Do a fresh flash
2. Run auto config for sprint
3. Try to connect to any website

Describe what you expected to happen: Internet to work.

Re: nueROM 2.2 Bleeding Edge Report Thread

I know this was talked about before the threads got converted, I am running pre8 and I want to be able to hide the bottom soft keys using software like vjtoggle or the other one both I have tried have not worked, I am pretty sure someone fixed this by replacing the shell32.exe but i can't remember which one and where to get it. Any help would be appreciated. Oh also is there any effect on performance with doing this?
