Re: Linux/Android working on Titan

Keyboard works fine for me once you calibrate it.

To calibrate the keyboard:

1 - Hold down the camera button (keyboard will pop up)
2 - While holding camera button touch opposite corners of the screen (NW,SE - SW,NE)
3 - Release the camera button

Be sure to safely shut down your session so it saves these settings, otherwise you have to do it every time.

Re: Linux/Android working on Titan

We're talking about the hardware keyboard, not the onscreen.

Re: Linux/Android working on Titan

Okay... anyone tried the new gzipped image that dzo posted?

Its supposed to extract on the fly when you boot it... but on my device, its giving me IO errors. I know there is nothing wrong with my memory card... just curious if anyone has gotten it to work.

I have gotten it to work, but you still gotta put the system and data files in the top level of your storage card.

Re: Linux/Android working on Titan

I'm going to delete everything and start fresh... I just keep getting IO errors.

Does this one still freeze after awhile?

Re: Linux/Android working on Titan

Hi,

I'm completely new in terms of Windows Mobile, haret and everything except Android. I've read the whole thread, downloaded files and when I run haret.exe, after the progress bar hits the end, everything hangs and I can make only a hard reset. I'm using HTC Touch Dual, ROM version 1.31.405.09, Qualcomm 7200. Anyone has any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Linux/Android working on Titan

Well, thanks for all the info guys. My boss will be happy to know I just wasted half the morning with Android......

My phone was originally running the OEM 6 and a RiDATA 2gb Mirco SD card. It couldn't get the SD to mount with that set up no matter what I did or how/where I did it. I then decided to try a new rom and grabbed the OEM 6.1. Again, it wouldn't mount. Then I tracked down a PNY Micro SD card. I formatted it on my Mac, just like I had done with the first card. The PNY mounted and booted right up.

Thanks! This has been fun. I'm excited to see how this plays out, especially since I byp***** an IPhone in hopes this would become a reality sooner then later.
