Re: Linux/Android working on Titan

I unzipped everything to my SDcard root, and I get this error:

"mount: mounting /dev/block/mmcblk0p1 on /Sdcard failed: No Such device or address"
"Failed to Mount SD Card"

So it can't mount the storage card. Could this be due to the Service that lets you choose how to mount the SD card in WinMo as Removable Media or Active Sync?

I only have a single partition on the device SD card.

Re: Linux/Android working on Titan

reboot your phone and try again. Sometimes no2chem's SD driver can be a bit slow.

Re: Linux/Android working on Titan

Ethereal,

So you were having the same issue, that multi-reboots resolved?

I don't want to keep rebooting this thing, if it's not been proven to work

thanks,

Jef

Re: Linux/Android working on Titan

I've had issues with no2chem's SD driver before that required a soft reset before the SD started working properly. I'm not talking about a hard reset, just a soft reset.

Re: Linux/Android working on Titan

Apparently, this only is supported on SDcards, not SDHC cards at this time.

Re: Linux/Android working on Titan

Looks Like you are right, I tried with my 4GB SDHC card and got the error. now i tried a 2 GB SD card (not HC) and guess what ...IT WORKS!!!!! COOL!!

Now let's go back to usage..... It is cool, but it works really badly... Don't get me wrong.... Thanks for all the effort...and you guys are moving to the right direction, but I cannot use Google since there is no keyboard, my contacts...well can't add any, it basically works to make and receive calls.

BUT IT IS STILL VERY COOL.... I was able to boot it... just that is priceless... Keep up the wonderful work and give us new updates every time you can.

Thanks once more!!!=D>=D>=D>=D>=D>

Why? I know that I have like 3 of those damn 512MB cards lying around that actually came with my various devices... seriously, its not that hard to get ahold of a non-SDHC card.
