I have tried to get this radio installed several times and was not able to. I downloaded the 2.47 unlocker, followed the instructions and on the first attempt it worked. I also downloaded the relocker and it returned the bootloader back to the original and left the newly installed radio alone. My thanks to No2Chem.

This only changes your bootloader. It has nothing to do with your radio. If you need to turn your phone in, flash the latest rom from HTC's website (assuming you're on sprint). If you're on a different carrier, you will not be able to downgrade your radio. Unless your carrier has an official gps rom.

Looks like you have a Sprint Mogul. Just go to this thread, download the file and run it. Don't worry about unlocking your device. This will upgrade your Radio and get you WM6.1. This is the newest Sprint ROM.

AFTER YOU UPGRADE YOUR DEVICE WITH THE ABOVE FILE:
Now if you see you have a need to run a custom rom. (ie No2Chem's great ROMS), then you will need this SPL (to unlock your device). Go to the first page of this thread and read his DETAILED instructions on how to unlock the device.
