I just bought a vogue for $150 (a few scratches). First thing i looked for was a bootloader lol. I guess i don't want the previous owner to have messed with it in anyway.

The guy was unhappy with the phone cuz the internet was slower than the instinct. I had a lot of fun showing him after I enabled the Rev A and GPS.

Sorry for diverging from the thread. So yeah, with this relocker it will be harder for us to tell if it was previously unlocked. Not that it matters, but i prefer a locked phone so I can do all the heavy abuse (don't want a previously overclocked ppc).

just didn't want a modder frying the internals before selling it.. So i wanted to be safe. You've seen what others in these forums are willing to do to their phones. Do you blame me?

No way to know if it was unlocked and relocked really... and just a bit of paranoia if you ask me. If everything works physically on the device it doesn't matter what ROM was flashed at one point in time.

Honestly, usually the people who are inclined to unlock and flash their phones are the (geeky) ones who would respect and treat the device better than someone who is kinda tarded to the fact. If you're that worried about it you would buy a new device. Otherwise, I wouldn't worry about it too much

Re: nueSPL-2.47

Has anyone tried to install the SPL using the sd card method?
i.e. copy the TITAIMG file created by no2chem's unlocker, and copy it to another sd card to use on a phone stuck in bootloader?

um, this wont work. you need to be patching through a sspl. if you are stuck in bootloader, fire up mtty:

set 16 0
task 8

i guess in future releases i will patch out that ruunbh crap.

Re: nueSPL-2.47

I have an iddy biddy little question.. is the ability to flash from SDHC a limitation of the SPL? Meaning, would it be possible to somehow hack it to allow it to recognize file system on these cards?

Reason I ask is because I think pretty much everyone has a primary card that is SDHC and it would be really really cool to be able to just download an update image straight to their cards without having to swap around another card...

Just wondering if that's even nearly possible

Re: nueSPL-2.47

I have tried to get this radio installed several times and was not able to. I downloaded the 2.47 unlocker, followed the instructions and on the first attempt it worked. I also downloaded the relocker and it returned the bootloader back to the original and left the newly installed radio alone. My thanks to No2Chem.

This only changes your bootloader. It has nothing to do with your radio. If you need to turn your phone in, flash the latest rom from HTC's website (assuming you're on sprint). If you're on a different carrier, you will not be able to downgrade your radio. Unless your carrier has an official gps rom.
