Re: Titan 19588 Kitchen

How does this compare to no2's roms? I ran 5066 & 5067 pretty bare with only MSVC and Office installed and would get 20-23MB free ram at start and over time it might eventually drop to 5-6 during the day after a lot of use. This ROM seems a bit snappier. I installed it bare with MSVC only and installed Office separately, so i thought I would have more ram, but I start with 10-12MB and it drops pretty fast over an hour of use. I don't get a lack of memory error with rma heavy apps like camera like I have seen before, but I do get autoclose programs that I wish would stay open because the ram available gets low. What is everyone getting for avail ram on this ROM?

Re: Titan 19588 Kitchen

I got about 19-20MB on boot but I like to test cache & glyph combos (using Schap's) with each ROM I build.
I tested this one at:
6MB pagepool
Auto FScache
4096 FSfilter cache
16 or 32 Glyph Cache

~20MB+ after boot

I would run this ROM after some of the kinks get worked out but for now I went back to my No2chem5067 kitchen. With the programs and webpages I use I can run 5067 all day with big pagepool and 4MB FScache and it regularly returns to 17-18MB when I close everything.

Re: Titan 19588 Kitchen

Oh yeah... any Idea why the font looks different in this than No2chem's 5067 titan kitchen.
I really want to bite that style for my current ROM.

I have been not running lower than 10mb......starts at 20-21....running at a page pool 7.......I run plenty of apps throughout the day....email, telenav, and MSVC mostly.....never been lower than 8 yet....will see how it goes throughout this week as I am quite busier....

Weird... I wonder why the discrepancy. Seemingly sme settings no2 5067 starts high and hovers at 10-18 and this one starts at 12 and when i cradle it drops to 8-9 before i even do anythin on it. I guess I'll go back to 5067 because the reason i flashed is to get the MSVC update and I ee it is avail for 5067 so I'll go that route even though i have been updating the kitchen wishing I would see No2 5070 posted.... This is too addicting

I agree. I had to change to a different rom. I couldn't get it to go away. It made texting almost useless.

Re: Titan 19588 Kitchen

Is the WM5Storage program that allows the device to be seen as an USB drive no longer part of the OEM programs in the update?

Re: Titan 19588 Kitchen

Having another great time with the kitchen, thanks!

Now, to a few bugs that I've noticed...

1. Choosing the Vogue dialer disables all the ##codes# (didn't previously).
2. Choosing the Touch dialer disables the (specifically) ##data# code. It just opens and quickly closes.
3. As previously stated, the comm manager defaults to the three button. Setting the button manually in settings fixes that though. ***edit*** If you select the 10 button comm manager, there isn't a listing for it in the button setup drop-down list.
4. With the same choices from the last kitchen selected, I'm starting with around 18-19 MB of RAM, rather than the previous 24 MB (average) on a soft reset.
*edit* 5. Choosing "Hide data connection bubble" doesn't actually... hide the data connection bubble.

I think that's it for now. I was also curious though, is this a ported ROM? I didn't think the new Sprint ROM was 19588 (but I'm probably wrong).

Anyhow, thanks again for the good times!

Re: Titan 19588 Kitchen

Again the carrier Reliance India is not there. Please include it.
While there's a new format, do I need to uninstall the old one? I use build OS.
