Expect a pre-built ROM tonight, and then depending on how solid it is you can expect a kitchen within a few days of a good, stable version of it.

Yes, you can flash just the radio, right from the SD card.. name it TITAIMG.nbh and flash from bootloader.. radio file is only 11MB and is floating around here on a couple of threads. you'll find it.
EDIT - link to the radio only - HERE.

Thanks a bunch. Does this one work fine with current ROMs? I want to make sure I can safely install it before installing the new ROM.

other folks have reported it updated no problem, right over their 5069k build.. i don't have a non-HC SD card so i can't try it out first hand... (if you flash from SD card, everyone is saying they didn't even need to hard reset).

i'm with you, i want to try out my current 5067 with just the new radio, before i do a whole new rom.

Really guys, questions like these, ones that have no definitive answer, shouldn't even be asked.

"What rom is the best?"

"Is sprint's rom better than custom rom from person x?"

"which radio is the best?"

It's similar to asking: What color is the best color?

Case in point:
