Anyone have a date with some facts to offer? Thanks. !!!

Wtf are you talking about? I never said anything about buying a windows PDA phone vs a regular phone. And I wouldn't say that a pocket PC is a PC first, phone second. I definitely use my Mogul as a phone (calling, texting, MMS) just as much as I do email, browse the internet, etc.
You stated MMS is included on windows mobile. It's not. Simple as that. Email is included, MMS isn't. Email does not = multimedia messaging system.
You don't know which carrier all your friends are on, so the #@carrier.com system fails there. MMS won't.
This thread is way off topic.

Re: Sprint ROM release date speculation

I cannot adjust the backlight on my Mogul using this new ROM. The screen is nice and bright so it looks like it is defaulting to a bright or the brightest level----but you cannot move the adjustment sliders at all.

Anyone else experience this? Suggestions??

I just tried out the backlight on 3.56, and it seems to be working properly on my Mogul.

a windows mobile is a computer first phone second otherwise it would ob been called mobile windows and not windows mobile. I expect my wm device to act like my pc. I can goto http://www.fonefinder.net/ and the site will tell me who the provider is for that number. Thus I know what carrier to send it to.... Even apple does not support mms. MMS i think is for lazy users who dont want to take the time to find out who is on what carrier.
