I would definitely say email is not MMS. MMS is when you type in a number for any of the carriers, not an email address, to send a picture, video, or sound file. That would be easier than trying to know the the carrier email server for all of your friends. On the flip side, some people are somewhat annoyed that Sprint forces users to use a web browser to see pictures online when using smartphones. Standard phones have pictures delivered directly to the phone using the MMS application.
That is what most users considered MMS.
Sure, MMS is based off of email, so is SMS. But I wouldn't say if you have email you have MMS. More like you have limited MMS or just the ability to email multimedia, not a true Multimedia Messaging Service.

Then dont purchase a windows mobile phone, I mean the name says it alll... WINDOWS, if i want my windows mobile phone to act like cellphone I would of purchased a LG Muziq. All i do is place the ###-###-####@sprintpcs.com into my contact list for any sprint users and their easy as pie. I do the same for vzw.... Also if someone wants to send me a pic then just send it to my yahoo account and my phone will access my yahoo account and i will have the pic just like pic mail.
