Re: Titan WM6.1 No2Chem 5067 Kitchen

Has anyone had a problem connecting to Windows Mobile Device Center (WMDC) in Vista after flashing to 5067? I synced just before flashing, the flash went fine, now WMDC wont connect to the phone at all. WMDC states "Connecting" then "Error". TIA

Did you trun "off" the little flag on USB connection? That'll - in most cases if not always - prevent you from connecting. I'm on 5067 and connect to XP, XP Tablet, and Vista w/o any problems.

Hmm, not sure what you're asking. But I have unchecked the box marked "Enable advanced network functionality"

That's correct. And you're still having problems?

Reboot your computer. That did it once for me. And while you are at it, you might as well soft boot your phone also.

Then try again.

Gave both of those a try. Also tried uninstalling the drivers for the phone and letting Vista re-install, did not help. Uninstalled WMDC entirely and reinstalled, now the phone connects to WMDC, states "Connected" but doesn't show the sync options. Am I missing adding something to the Rom in the kitchen that is essentially for syncing?

Edit: Restarted everything again, now WMDC states "Connecting" then "Not Connected". ActiveSync on my other computer connects with the phone just fine. But, all the data I need is on the Vista comp. I did not have a problem syncing before the flash.
