CONFUSING.. what is the logic behind .16 being newer than .7 ..
the numbers don't compute for me ?
wouldnt it theoretically be .70 ? which is great than .16 ?
jeez, i can only really ask this in a GEEKS forum now can't i ! LOL!
Dont knock yourself...its ok. If you noticed the numbers have been incrementing up (.6, .11, .16, .19). No worries. I have .16 installed and love the integrated mailbox. I am trying to get the voicemail feature working, which allows you to record a msg and then send it via SMS. Have not gotten it right yet. More on that later.

Re: Arcsoft MMS cab - 5.0.31.7

spetrillo, can you post your registry settings?

I can't seem to get MMS to work properly with the threaded SMS, since they merge the SMS and MMS together. e.g. "Menu" and "New" just gets me a new SMS, with no way to attach a picture.

Re: Arcsoft MMS cab - 5.0.31.7

Evening folks.

Has anyone else encountered this weird.....bug?

I have all my contacts by first & last name. Sending threaded SMS is fine. But here's the thing. When one of them sends me an MMS, the message thread changes from their name to their phone number, & that's what stays on the thread.

It's not a big issue, but I'm just a little picky. Anyone else experience this, & maybe find a fix to it?

No I have not encountered this. I will do some more testing. Which version of Arcsoft are you running. Do you have an OEM for this?

Re: Arcsoft MMS cab - 5.0.31.7

I'm running the .19 version from the XDA site (with the VZW additional cab). I don't have an OEM (I'm using No2Chem 5069-K.....the kitchen was giving me issues.....weird).

Re: Arcsoft MMS cab - 5.0.31.7

That version ( .19) has that bug in it, it details the bugs in the version logs. I am using .25 at the moment and it has fixed that problem. Now many people show this version as 5.0.27.25, but when installed, it shows as 5.0.31.25, and I am believing the later.

So, I will post a link to the cab I have installed and it runs great, no more telephone number, just contact names..... love it.... I ran acros it in this thread....

PS - On a side note, I have extensively tested several versions of Arcsoft 3, 4, and 5, and have found that ALL versions 5.x.x.x have a mem leak, it is small, but the more MMS you use, the more mem you lose.... The transport.exe seems to allocate more memory each time you get a new MMS, if you close it using a task manager, it will free some RAM, but not all..... it is worth it, for the bug fixes it offers in the latest version.....

Thank you so much. Like I said, it really wasn't that big of an issue for me, but it was just a little annoying.
