was that a serious statement? its taken well over a year just for the update from WM 6 to WM 6.1, and it isnt 'officially' released yet. WM 7 is not realistically going to be released until the end of 2009 or 2010.

Does this new ROM version fix the bug in the current ROM where the GPS stack dies if the phone goes into standby mode while GPS is active? For me at least, that's the biggest problem in the current Official Sprint/HTC ROM. I truly hope that it gets fixed in the next release.

Has anyone gotten Sprint TV to work with this ROM? It worked for me for 2 hours and now all I get is a "stale mobiuser" error at startup.

I can't adjust the back light brightness and when I hold down the power button and click yes turn off the device it turns off the screen only. Anyone else have these problems?

Edit: I figured it out, the problem is HTC Home I had installed from post 268 in this thread. I uninstalled it and everything is fine.

Well... Today is June 1st. I see no evidence of an officially released ROM. sigh.

Its also only sunday. Sprint Corp isnt working neither is HTC. Wait for tomorrow morning about 11am EST. That will be Opening time for HTC in california. But mind you like before dont hold your breath.

I too had HTC home installed. I uninstalled it, and the phone will turn off now. I also didn't realize how slow HTC Home made the phone run as well. I believe I will leave it off the device for now.

use Windows mobile Big Pimpin Edition. It has specialized programs ta keep track o' muh ma freak'n biAtchez. It has uh new service simular ta Family Locater by called Hoe Tracker 3000. It tells me wuz dey iz at any given tyme an' ah can see real tyme video o' dem too from they camara. what 'chew thinking man?
