I haven't installed this radio but when I have installed just the radio in the past, it has not hard reset.
I just installed the whole rom and then flashed to no2chem's 5066. Kevan |

Re: New "Official" Sprint ROM (3.49, radio 3.39.10)
It did not for me the second time
First I flashed by downloading the full installer, I unzipped the two .nbh files(RUU_signed.NB and Special_4350.nbh) and put them on my SD card, renamed RUU_signed to titaimg.nbh and entered boot loader(power, camera + soft reset). It flashed everything, (cdma) Radio too. It even kept my Radio settings Accolc, vcoder and sci from the prior Radio. That got me wondering if I had done it the right way(I've never flashed a radio from an SD card before and could not find any worthwhile information on it) I decided to flash the Radio Vetvito posted to see if that changed anything (just to be safe). Well it flashed fine and I lost none of my installed programs in the process, NO Hard Reset! So now I wonder if the first way I did it was fine. Maybe Vetvito or No2Chem can elaborate. |
