Has anyone else noticed this boots up and loads extremely slow after this ROM?

I've noticed *some* things are slower. One thing that's been bothering me, selecting all messages in my Text Messages inbox and trying to Mark them as Read is painfully slow, and this was not a problem at all before. It's certainly not unusable, but I do notice some performance issues compared to the previous ROM.

Re: ALLTEL ROM 3.35.671.9 on HTC's site now

Woohoo!!! Glad it worked! It seems to vary, sometimes it takes several minutes, sometimes it only takes seconds. When I had the Sprint ROM on my phone, it seemed more consistently faster to lock onto satellites, but others said the Sprint ROM sometimes takes up to 15-minutes so maybe I just got lucky a few times.

Re: ALLTEL ROM 3.35.671.9 on HTC's site now

Ok, things seem to speed up after it has settled down. However, it is now showing that I am roaming. I know I can't be roaming due to where I work, but that is an odd thing...

ActiveSync is now not working - Fails when I try to connect it to my desktop

Re: ALLTEL ROM 3.35.671.9 on HTC's site now

To fix the roaming problem, try going into the phone and enter *228, then 3 to activate. That got rid of the roaming indicator on mine.

For ActiveSync, try going into Settings->Connections->USB to PC and uncheck "Enable advanced network functionality".

Re: ALLTEL ROM 3.35.671.9 on HTC's site now

Whelp after going to a reflash - along with the above mentioned items I was able to get it back online minus the roaming indicator and sync'ed back to my desktop at work.

I did the trick with the three gps files after doing the previously mentioned security tweak. I no longer get GPS not found, however I can not seem to get any satellites using GoogleMaps.

I get a message screen saying that it maybe too cloudy and gives a description of what GPS is and how it works.

A little closer than before but still stuck in a small hole, which I should be able to resolve soon.

Thanks everyone for the help!!!
