Unfortunately, it's not flashing purple -- it's actually staying solid purple with bluetooth disabled (off). Enabling bluetooth only adds the normal blue flash on top of the steady purple LED...

At any rate, a leaky battery is looking to be the possible culprit here. I'm really dreading going back to the Sprint store...

I would lock the door if I saw you coming...HAHA good thing there is 11 sprint stores within 20 miles of me. I hope nothing goes wrong with mine. I bought it outright. if the battery takes a dunp, I will just buy a new one. I think the phone has a manufacturers warranty anyway. I guess I better look into that.

Re: Mogul's left LED keeps turning PURPLE!!!

I had this happen too. Pretty sure it's an overheat LED.

Was talking on the phone, plugged it in to keep battery up while talking, and about burned my ear off. Pulled plug, and after it died a few mins later. I put back on charger (still hot to touch) I had the solid purple. Actually kinda cool LED to see... other than I think a cool color LED < a radiating, superheated phone...

Put it in front of the air conditioner for a few minutes (off charger), and the LED was gone (when put back on charger).

Probably not an actual phone problem LED, but a more of a "cry for help" from the phone telling you to stop being a ppc addict like the rest of us :-p

Off Topic:

If you turn on Wifi, Bluetooth, and get a notification popup, you can throw small raves with your phone. Or have a seizure.

Re: Mogul's left LED keeps turning PURPLE!!!

Man you guys are scaring me. I don't even want to read this thread anymore. I need to see if there is a warranty with my phone in the box. I don't feel like going through what you guys are going through. I did notice when I plugged it in to charge earlier that it was pretty hot. I took the stylus out and was like d#&m thats pretty warm.

Welcome to the board Nick...
