Yes, I did it just like that but stopped before putting in a custom ROM. This should have put me back at Verizom ROM level, which it did but with Sprint configurations back in it. Does Sprint phone have an internal configuration maybe that I need to erase?

I did use your info and the info in this post - http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...hlight=ppc6800

I have a 6700 also and did copy the data over manually via ##778 but was afraid to put the 6700 info files into the 6800 without someone having some experience doing so.

Also, the 6800 has more blanks to fill in than the 6700 does so i saw that as some kind of incompatibility. Let me know if I am wrong.

I am not trying to sound repetitive, but did you try the FILE in my thread.

If you used the file in my posted thread, and you still are having problems, I am not sure where to point you, that should leave you with a stock Verizon no Sprint phone.

Unfortunately, I did do it exactly like your post, Thats when my converted Sprint phone went back to Sprint settings. I ran what I thought were Verizon customizations but it turned into a Sprint phone again. I also tried everything twice now and same result. I am now stuck with SPL 1.20 Olipro and can't get rid of that. Every burn I try to get rid of 1.20 just dies in the middle and I can't move up to 2.4 Olipro. I think 1.20 is a piece of crap that people everywhere seem to be stuck in. We should remove it from existance.

I have scanned all the boards and can't find a way out of it........

Re: Mogel on Verizon-How to get EVDO to work?

OK, after many tries I finally got it to the Sprint 3.35 without Sprint customizations. Was it worth 3/4 of my day? NO.

Here is what I had to do to get it there in case it happens to someone else:

*Burned it back to 1.06 bootloader from 1.20.
*relocked it.
*burned it back to Verizon stock again.
*then went to 2.06 Bootloader.
*Loaded Stock Sprint 3.35 which gave me 2.4 bootloader.

Now i will probably destroy it with a custom ROM but thats where I always wanted to end up.

Two Days of F'ing with this thing just to get a Sprint Mogel to XV6800 status on verizon.

NOW I can start to see what it will take to get the Data working (wasn't that the point of my whole post to start with !)

I will let everyone know and start a new thread with steps to get it there if I ever do.
