Did I click on one too many things? All my ring tomes are doubled. I did click on additional ring tones. Next time I am not selecting that.

Question #2: Am I suppose to do something with ExtROM before flashing? I mean like delete it all or something. I thought I read something about this a while back.

1. never had that happen before.

2. you can do whatever with ext_rom: if you selected tierautoinstall, you can use it to install stuff on ext_rom or just bypass it.
if you selected the Autorun, sorry, dont know much about that....yet!

I too cannot launch a VC request from my headset. I have the Plantronics. It always worked from the older VC. Also, I cannot control the "Next Song" , "Previous Song" commands from the headset either. This too worked from old version.

All these problems on my XV-6700, I haven't tried my XV-6800 yet.

That's part of the broken HTC Touch Keyboard. It's been fixed in the latest updates.

New version should not be used on 6700. It will not be available for 6700 after the next update for that exact reason.

I cooked a kitchen based on no2chem's 5060. I made sure to install symbol bad but it only brings up the keyboard. Anyone have a clue on how I remedy this problem? I use it alot as it's a pain to go through block recognizer to input "$" or "/" lol.

Someone said something about extracting it from dcd's rom but I'm a noob and had no idea what he was typing about.

It's not the symbol pad itself, it's the way 5060 is handling added SIPs.
It's being worked on.

You can try changing these two settings..
That should go back to stock word completion.
