Titan Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19209 (Build 19209.1.0.2) aka 5060

Tierman - Are there any surefire methods to get SD flashing to work.... I can't seem to get it to flash the radio via the SD card... I have done the following....

Gone to a DOS box and used a command line: format g: /FS:FAT32 /A:1024 /X

This was to properly format the card. Then took the radio.nbh and moved it to the card in the root directory and renamed it to: TITAIMG.nbh

Then proceded to goto bootloader mode and it "should" have found the image and flashed it right??? But it flashes a gray screen REAL quick that says: Image not found

Can you help me figure out why I can't flash any image using this method.... thx

TITAIMG is for ROM, not radio.

Also it's been reported that when flashing from SD, the card cannot be SDHC or bigger than 2gb.

not true when 3.35 first came out i flashed it from my sd to my phone no issues.I named it TITAIMG.nbh as well...also on a 8gb sdhc card...worked for me...but i formatted mine from a usb reader normally under my computer to fat32....i can comfirm it should work did for me..

yes it does work....i dropped mine in with resco..its not the normal spc_startup though..its under a different name....but if you unhide rom extentions with resco and search you will find it..

just tried to flash 5060 from a 4GB SDHC fat32 card.. did NOT work.
i ran the unlocker and once on tricolor, hard reset. it just booted back to my already installed 5054. seems this does not work for the majority of people. it sure is frustrating whe someone comes along and says 'works for me'...... i've read more posts about confirming it DOESN'T work, than does.. so oh well


anyhow, 5060 up and running and it's a sweet ride !

It's because of the card. I can easily imagine an SDHC won't work, but sometimes reformating helps.

its not a fact of me just saying it does work to blow smoke..it does work cause Ive DONE IT.My card is a true sandisk make 8gb sdhc...works fine bro...like i said i formatted mine through a usb reader to fat32..and the nbh was only file on it...i hard reset with card already in. seen and sees it fine.

allright, allright. so it worked for you. you were lucky. the majority of people cant get it to work. Nickles took a chance and tried it, didnt work.

i know Kaos -- i'm just saying.. it's frustrating. i would love to be able to have this work for me.. it just seems to NOT work for people, more than it does. bummer..

So here is a question.
moved from 5054 to 5060. everythings been working great all day.
i selected HetalTp's touch keyboard from the kitchen.. it installed 2 entries on my keyboard selection - Touch Keyboard and Touch Keypad.
they were working fine, for hours, now all of a sudden when i click either of them, the regular keyboard just stays on screen.
and when i go to select either of them to try again, the default arrow is on the 'regular' keyboard.. so it's not even processing the selection to switch to the touch ones..

is there a way i can just remove the Touch keyboard from the selector dropdown ? i don't want to re-flash just to get them out of there... or better yet, whats up that they don't seem to work all of a sudden?

EDIT - crap. wrong thread. my bad. move to no2 nuerom WM 6.1 if you can...

I think it's because you "hard reset".
Insert the fat32 formated card which has JUST titaimg.nbh on it,
in the root. and NOTHING ELSE * any more files/folders will confuse the bootloader!
Put your device in bootloader by holding power camers and softreset,
the ROM should start to load. If not, just soft-reset.
