Will Stock 3.35 ROM require me to call Verizon to have the A-Key reset? I currently have Radio Version 3.27 with the ROM that enables the GPS capibility. And it actually works great!

the 1 and only time i had to get a new Akey fro VZW is when i flashed to the new radio..
subsequent rom flashes never gave me any trouble.. you may have to re-authenticate, by dialing *228, but you wont need a new aKey......

In 5060 you will also need to change "protocols" to "bth,irda" but that fix is in as well.

Having a problem flashing into my phone. Did it on one occasion before but won't work anymore.
I customized my Personal OEM; selected addt'l OEM's and click on NBHGEN in Tools I get the following error message:
"Failed to start tools\nbhgen.exe
The directory is invaild."
Can someone tell me if something is wrong with BuildOS or something else?
Also, can someone tell me what steps I should take? I really can't remember what I did the first time I built my own OEM.

I'm having a problem with my akey on sprint as well after I upped. I'll try the *228 fix and see if that works.

Sprint doesn't use an AKey.

I have the same problem with PCM keyboard sometimes but a soft reset makes it work for me.

I've been buried (travel, then work) since the kitchen came out but I sooo want to use it. Looks like being late to the party paid off this time

To be more specific for those who are not familiar with "protocols" key:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Obex]
"protocols"=reg_sz:"bth,irda"

Along with the change to the "IntIR" key:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\Irsir1\Parms]
"IntIR"=reg_dword:"1"

Should enable IR functionality for you. Thanks to those who discovered this, whomever you are. =D>
