not 100% sure i understood your question, but i did notice a lot of options not shown in the kitchen this time, like for example WMP wasn't in the list, but after i picked TCPMP and flashed i had both WMP and TCPMP....

WMP is required (more or less). It caused too many issues when left optoinal. Largest of which is that you wont have any ringers if you dont have WMP. So, it is no longer optional to avoid the unnecessary posts from people who would most definitely have issues. Since rom size is no longer an issue, it really shouldn't matter if it is installed or not. If you really hate seeing the icon, you can remove the shortcut from the various locations.

Yes, I have not included S2U2 in my flashes yet and I'm not sure how to stop it. oh well it doesn't cause any real problems that I can tell, yet. Something I noticed while BuildOS is compiling the RUU is that it stops and requires me to confirm the overwrite of some files. Is this normal and expected? I have said yes to all of them so far and haven't noticed any issues as a result, but just want to know if there is something I am missing. I like building things, but am still always nervous when there are extra parts.

there's "advanced configuration" that lets you readj the scroll bars, file system cache, power mgr, etc. i have it as it's own option in programs, not under "advanced settings" where i think it was on 5054 - but it was in the kitchen when i built my ROM

I included Comm Manager (10 button) in my rom. After initialy flashing the rom, the application had a nice 3D looking icon. Now after a reset, the icon is back to the old look. Not the black one, but the standard blue one with an antenna. Can anyone explain this? Thanks!!!
