Second, the dialer pops up constantly. Every time I click OK to get out of an application and back to the today screen, the dialer pops up instead of the today screen.

Other than those two issues, its working flawlessly, however in order for me to flash via Vista, I had to build the NBH and copy it to the Titan RUU manually with my Titan in bootloader mode. Not a big deal and I know Vista is a royal PITA. Haven't toyed with it much to see if its a permissions thing or not.
Which dialer did you select? I suspect you picked the vogue dialer. This was an issue before with that dialer. It would just pop up for no real reason.

Make sure you give Administrator privileges to BuildOS in its properties.

Re: Titan Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19209 (Build 19209.1.0.2) aka 5060

Guys I for one am very grateful for the kitchen. I have used several roms from various people. All of which have things in them I dont need or like. The kitchen allows us to build like we want. Could I do this on my own, most likly after a LOT of learning. Does it make it easier to already have a kitchen, sure it does. Does it have everything in it I want, no. But its easy enough to add. I agree if someone has issues with it, then hit the next button. But I for one am very thankful for all the hard work the kitchen team has put into this to save the rest of us the grief. Thanks guys.

I also have these symptoms with my 5060 kitchen build. One other thing I noticed about the dialer is that there is an extra 'cut out' square, about the size of the normal close button (the 'x' button) a little below where the close button in in the top right of the screen. I am using the Vogue Dialer and HTC SmartDialer.

I select very few options when building a ROM so I did not select the 1-Calc Lite program, and the default calculator application fails to start with a "The file 'MobileCalculator' cannot be opened...not signed...one of its components cannot be found." error message.

Finally, my IR beam does not appear to be working. This may be expected behavior but I have read contradicting statements about this issue. Specifically, I originally read that the OS in 5060 was pulled from the Kaiser that did not have IR beam so that was why it did not work. Then, more recently, I read that Microsoft changed up the registry keys that are used to enable the IR beam and it would be fixed in 5060 kitchen. The question then remains, should it be working?

Everything else seems to be working great so far though. I am planning to completely delete the kitchen and download and install it again fresh before building a new ROM using 5060. Thanks for all the hard work and effort put into the kitchen again.

I noticed this with the kitchen's Vogue dialer too, but not with the Vogue dialer in dcd's kitchen. Switched to the RAF dialer, all is well, I even like it better.

No2Chem - is it possible you can give your official input regarding this ?
i've asked over numerous threads but nobody seems to have a definitive answer.. hoping to get one right from the 'horses mouth'.. this will be my main reason for upgrading from 5054.
I LUST TO HAVE BEAM WORKING ! lol... thank you.

If you just reinstall the HTC dialer cab after cooking it stops the pop up dialer. I have done it 7 times now.....trust me it works. LOL

Which cab would this be? Perhaps something to incorporate

Re: Titan Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19209 (Build 19209.1.0.2) aka 5060

Thank you for the tips about the dialer and I figured that I just needed to give BuildOS admin privileges.

I'm going to build a new ROM today now that I have fully-charged my phone. What's the best dialer to use? It would be cool if there were some preview images of the various dialers included or available somewhere. I use the Vogue dialer because I already know what I'm going to get with it.

Any idea about the phone receiving a text and then immediately going back to sleep issue?
