if you are running no2chems rom then go in to your file explorer look for extended rom and install IOTA then go in to settings/phone/internet/get settings/run IOTA.and for a prl update go here-> http://www.corolada.com/prl/ then download a prl that fits your service the latest from sprint that i see on there is 60711 but the the latest prl from sprint is on this forum somewhere and it is 60612.and to update this you will need your msl.

One last thing (hopefully), I've used the kitchen before and I had threaded SMS working fine but after flashing back to the official ROM and now back to no2chem's rom I don't have threaded text. Could it be an app or something in the kitchen that disabled it?
