First time ROM flasher
Just a quick question...
My ultimate goal is to run No2Chem's NueROM 2.0, and to do this I plan on following the instructions here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=17667. My #1 concern is backing up my contacts, and I have PIM backup and made a backup file from it but I am reading that people are having trouble restoring when upgrading from wm 6 to wm 6.1 is this true? is there a better backup program or will this work for me? also please let a noob know any other important info I might need that that thread does not cover! thanks everyone!

Just use the contacts sync with activesync or Windows Mobile device center (if on Vista) is works flawlessly for me with contacts.

I have never had any issues with using PIM back up on WM5/WM6/WM6.1 phone. Just do your flash and when your done run PIM and restore not backup and you'll be fine.
