okay so then menu pops up, i select edit, i enter my code that i got from getspc(msl ?) then a whole bunch of info pops up... what do i click next? i dont want to mess up my phone... thanks all

ok, the first screen that comes up should say Display at the top; that is where the MSID is located. right click on it and edit it.
then click the View Info link at the bottom left; select NAM settings page. that is where the MDN is located.
um...think being Verizon you may need the AKey also; which I know nothing about really. (sprint here)

i dont think i need an a-key cause i can make and recieve calls and what not, i just have slow signal acusasion (sp?)

okay i dont know what i'm doing it there, and i dont want to do anything else before i know what i am doing... i get up to where i get into the menus and things, and now i need to know what to do. thanks everyone for the help so far!

do the instructions I posted above not work there? that should be all you have to do to re-enter the information you need to re-enter. then save it, it will tell you its going to reset, and hopefully acquisition will work faster.

when i edit the msid number what do i fill in? currently it is set to my phone number, but do i need to change it and do i need to change my mdn? thanks justpctech

no if its the correct number now, you are just 'refreshing' it sort of. so just type the same thing in, and same for MDN, then save changes and it will reboot.

haha....cool. glad it worked. no rep needed, but appreciate it. if you go to your UserCP you can see the amount of rep you have and who gave it to you if they left a message with it.
